Child Safety Standards for the House of Voices app
This document outlines the Child Safety Standards for the House of Voices app, owned by KOLILEC, to ensure full compliance with the Google Play Console policies regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
As a social and communication app facilitating community projects, House of Voices must adhere to these standards to maintain a safe environment for all participants, regardless of whether children are the primary target audience. This shall be seen through by Thing Designs Series, a department formed to ensure safe programming of KOLILEC and partners.
1. Zero Tolerance Policy: CSAE & CSAM
House of Voices maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
Prohibition of CSAE: We strictly prohibit the use of our platform for grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any form of sexual exploitation of minors.
Prohibition of CSAM: The creation, uploading, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly forbidden. This includes any visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Actionable Measures: Upon obtaining "actual knowledge" of CSAM, House of Voices will immediately remove the content and terminate the associated account.
2. Reporting & Feedback Mechanisms
To empower our community, we provide clear channels for reporting safety concerns directly within the app.
In-App Reporting: Users can report suspicious behavior or inappropriate content via the "Report Content" or "Safety Feedback" feature located in the app settings and on individual profile/message screens.
Safety Point of Contact: Our designated Child Safety Officer can be reached at tideappseries@gmail.com to handle escalations and coordinate with law enforcement.
3. Legal Compliance & External Reporting
KOLILEC complies with all applicable international and local child safety laws.
Mandatory Reporting: In accordance with US and international standards, any confirmed CSAM will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority in the jurisdiction of the community project.
Data Protection: We adhere to COPPA and GDPR standards, ensuring that no sensitive data from minors is collected without verifiable parental consent.
4. Community Guidelines for Social Projects
Since the app facilitates community-led solutions, all project communication must be:
Moderated: AI-powered and human moderation is used to scan for predatory language or "grooming" patterns.
Age-Appropriate: Content must remain professional and focused on the community project goals, free from adult themes or violence.
